Secretary Henry Paulson outlined a proposal that...among other things...would expand the current line of credit to the 2 mortgage giants should they need to tap it. In a separate statement...the Federal Reserve said it's willing lend to Fannie and Freddie if they need additional funds.++ Just days after it was seized by federal regulators...it's back to business for IndyMac. The bank will re-open today under the oversight of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. IndyMac is the second largest financial institution to close in U-S history. ++9 U-S troops are dead after an attack in Afghanistan.Officials say militants fired machine guns...rocket-propelled grenades near a U-S outpost. The attack appeared to have been the deadliest for U.S. troops in Afghanistan since June 2005. ++What are the chances? For a second year in a row...Miss U-S-A falls down during the Miss Universe pageant. Crystle Stewart tripped on the train of her dress as she made her entrance. Her predecessor Rachel Smith took a tumble at last year's competition.

Thanks for the tip but I already dissolved myself from all the electronic credit/debit transactions about two years ago and just deal with cash now.
