Keep in mind that you cant group blacks and Africans together. Blacks are not African and that common sense. Africans dont even like black people. Puerto Ricans are similar to Africans not blacks in culture. Blacks have had to make their own culture in America becuase of the slavery. when you are snatched from your country you got to make the best of it and blacks have done well without Africans. Nelson Mandela didn't make hip hop, urban clothes, BET, etc.
