The Furai, which celebrates 40 years of Mazda's rotary engine and international motorsports heritage is seen here in full intimate detail. Furai is the latest in the Nagare design series from Mazda introduced at the 2008 Detroit AutoShow (NAIAS). Based on a US Le Mans race series Courage C65 chassis and featuring a 3 rotor rotary engine fueled by ethanol. Hear the full sound these rotors make in this intimate video.

My pants... They tighten.>0Hopefully the Furai has no special retardations like the rx-8A guy that works at Mazda Speed has gone through four engines in a period of 6 months. I haven't heard anything about the guy for a while but I'm sure hes blown another one and did an engine swap for a 13b by now. *chuckle*

If you couldn't tell by the sound..It's a 1.9 Liter Rotary, with about 460 bhp. Not just a car, but a real work of art.Oh, and to Mr. Nascar.. No one is racing.. why rush? You know what other word has 6 letters? Boring.
