That's an opinion.Rush music is so well thought-out that messing with it too much live can destroy the specialness of it, which is why they never do it. Even comparing Live Rush to studio Rush is like comparing peanut butter and naked ladies, they go well together, but one of them is loud when you're enjoying it.

i been playing bass for about 7 years now and i have to say that out of all the bass ive listened to from every genra of music..geddy lee is def. my top 10. hes fucking amazing and maybe even alittle higher on my list for the fact that he plays keyboards and sings too...amazing

Live music is not supposed to sound like the album, if you don't like live music , stay home and listen to the album.

I am not sure of what he used exactly, I know he used a Ampeg SVT head but that was a while ago.

go listen to any live stuff on up to different stagesafter diffrent stages he stopped using the traditional amp set upin my opinion his sound is alot "bigger"still great playin thoughanyone know what type of amps he used before he went direct?

I like rush because when they play live, it actually sounds like it does on the album!

actually he runs his bass through the PA, he has a rack of bass preamps and stuff.
