No Tool is NOT a MTV pop band... are you fucking kidding me? They have been in several lawsuits with their record company over artistic control of their music. They're music and direction goes beyond the materialistic viewI love this band, no disrespect. This reminds me alot of Neurosis

What a great band the Red Sparowes is... Really... Their music always sends shivers down my spine... And their albums are all instrumental... Thumbs up!

Great stuff. One thing that seems difficult to classify is what genre they actually are. It seems that anything predominantly instumental gets slung in the old "post rock" camp which I find very misleading. Also to be sure, they do not sound like Tool.They do have the same kind of artistic visual element to their live performances but Tool's guitar riffing is very minimalist in comparison to the Red Sparowes. In any case they are both great bands.
