well the costs may seem quite high for what was done, but then you have to take into accoutn the hourly wage and transport even before they start the item.

Ok... I don't know how other "Agents" work or anyone's other experiences with the GeekSquad. But as far as my team goes at Best Buy 494, they are some of the most knowledgeable techs that I have ever seen. Their knowledge is on par with that of a microsoft certified technician. As for myself, I will never claim to know it all, and while I don't agree with the pricing for the "difficulty" of the service... Most people don't know squat about computers, and there is more to it than ease of work.

LULZ those two people got ripped off so bad. The first one could of just called and waited. While the second one they didnt do anything to check her computer much just ran a quick test with their magical disc. I mean did the agent even blow air into the fan to get rid of dust?

Its $29, and they won't remove symantec's Anti virus unless they are installing a different anti virus. when you say "crap off there" that is the items that are in start up hogging up memory, they remove it from start up, that doesn't mean they un-install the trail software unless you ask.
