i only post this for, lets say "historical" purposes, i am in no way glorifying this accident.Many people have wanted to see how things happened.The video includes the crash some replays, an interview with Jimmy Means, and the announcement of JDs death at the end of the 1 hour 45 minute red flag.RIP JD McDuffie

i was hoping for some clarification, i've heard that j.d. was decapitated or impaled in this accident. is that true?

The other fatal crash at Watkins Glen was in 1973 where F1 driver Francois Cervert was decapitated in a crash at the top of the esses.

of course means know he was dead, when he did the interview, he got out of his car and went to McDuffy's. it prob took about ten seconds of no response from McDuffy fro Means to figure out he was prob dead
