ya i had like one crash in iDVD once but that was back when OS X 10.5 just came out since the past 4 updates everything works great and my aluminum iMac from late 2007 takes like 5-6 hours to get hot but it does not affect my performance

Yes well At my job I run a huge auditorium, all state of the art technology. The computer we use though is the Mac Pro, its great and all and has great software on it, and its very fast, but every now and then it overheats, it closes a program we are using right in the middle of a show, and me and my co-workers that are in the sound booth all look like idiots. So yes the mac is great for media, but It could do with out all of the crashes.

um well maybe its just a pain for u cause a lot of people love mac including me never had a problem
