i think a LS motor in the rx7 is alot better then a rotary personally, american hope + japanese handling = amazing car

I think if you're a purist or just like some aspects of the rotary, go for it. If you want an LS or something else in it, go for it. People arguing about swapping engines ruins the point of tuning and personal customizing cars. It's like those damn hot dog Nazis talking about how you shouldn't put ketchup on hot dogs. STFU. We eat whatever we want to eat. We paid for it and it's ours. Damn hot dog Nazis.

Fair enough, i have another car for daily use!I will stick with the rotor! (i love it far too much)Its a bit like having a super model girlfriend, its totally awesome, but does require a fair bit of maintenance to keep happy! :) (small price to pay really)If i absolutely had to put a V8 in it i would probably pick the Nissan VH40Dett, but i am saving for a 20bt (eventually...lol)!Ls7's arent cheap here in Australia & we have alot of specialist rotary workshops, that makes rotor life easy! :)

No, im a serious Mazda Fan & i just love the engineering of the rotary engine!The sound of a good rotary is intoxicating & the effortlesly smooth high reving power is very addictive! Its a true enthusiasts engine, that is in every way a drivers engine with serious race heritage, and must be treated as such! No lazy driving or shopping expeditions, otherwise why did you buy an rx7?go buy a Z06 or something! V8s arent the answer to everything! In my eyes he just ruined a truely great car!
