UR stupid as the currency is worth more countries lose competitiveness and inflation is the worst result of that. Mex is not interested and won´t be a good thing for us. I can tell you haven´t been to Europe. My friends from Italy or Spain said they lived better with their original currencies than with the EUR. It is only good for travelling as they have more purchasing powerOMG! you can easily tell who hasn´t studied or travelled...it´s a pitty life is so unfair for some unfortunate people.

The Euro makes sense for Europe. Imagine having to exchange your money each time you crossed states lines in the US. Imagine each state's currency competing for value every day. Imagine having to evaluate all your company's purchases everytime not just by cost, but by the vendor's currency's value.The Euro makes sense where each "state" had approximately the same economic power. That's not the case for the Amero.

Ridiculous...A guy in London postulating about an idea a Canadian had because the europeans were already looking at doing the same for themselves. There is absolutely no advantage to the USA for this. It would only serve Mexico and to a lesser degree Canada. Americans haven't heard of this because no one has any interest in it (Americans or Canadians). Of course Vincente Fox (Mexico) just loves the idea.CTers love to spread this stuff as fact.
