I remember him coming to NYC in 1970 or '71 with Dada and playing at the Fillmore East. I also saw him in Vinegar Joe before he went solo. And you can't forget his contribution to Power Station in the '80s. Loved his voice in all his musical styles: funk, blues, rock, synth/techno, and especially reggae. Wasn't he great singing with UB40? He was a man of quality ~~~ Robert you are sorely missed here on planet Earth, but I know you're jammin' away in some amazing celestial band!xxx sunnybeth
