javproductions, I hope that helps shed some light on the subject. If you interested in doing so there are Police reports you can read as well as plenty of eyewitness accounts available online. Meyer's lawyer was able to get him 18 months probation instead of going to trial to face the charges against him & the Officers were cleared of any wrong doing in the matter last Oct or Nov.Even with the new, more stringent, guidlines for taser use they STILL would have been justified given his actions.

javproductions cont...)...being told that he'd be tased if he didn't stop. He had 2 choices. Stop resisting & be cuffed or continue resisting & be tased THEN cuffed. It was 100% his choice. He CHOSE to be tased by CHOOSING to ignore REPEATED orders to stop resisting. They weren't vague about what was going to happen. Meyer brought it all on himself by his ACTIONS & stupid choices. Heck, even Meyer himself admits he didn't handle things correctly in "Don't tase me bro on the Today Show".

javproductions cont...)After breaking all of the forum rules & refusing to step down ACCENT decided to exercise their right to enforce forum rules & they cut the mic. The Officers were then escorting Meyer from the room, NOT arresting him. Not until his actions warrented it. Meyer CHOSE to violently resist that lawful removal & then tried to get others to interfere with the Officers. THAT is why he was arrested. He then CHOSE to ignore REPEATED orders to stop resisting even AFTER.....cont.....)

javaproductions, if you haven't yet seen it I recommend watching the video titled WUFT Video Andrew Meyer. It starts when the Officers are removing Meyer for disrupting the forum, yelling & cursing. He was told to leave by both ACCENT & Police & refused to do so. While being escorted out Kerry asked that he be allowed to ask a question. NOT to allow Meyer to ignore the forum rules, which he did breaking all 3 of them. NOT for the Officers to forget Meyers disorderly conduct. cont...)
