Survivor's Tale - Afghanistan
June 2008Internationally acclaimed Photographer Stephen Dupont narrowly escaped a suicide blast in Afghanistan. After 20 years of recording the plight of others, he was now turning the lens on himself.Just after the explosion, Dupont pulled out his camera and began capturing the chaos. He filmed himself, blood running down his face, as he searched for his lost colleague, not knowing if he was dead or alive. With such media-targeted attacks increasing, what will happen if journalists stop covering conflict-zones? "We wont be able to bring back the message or tell both sides of the story...there'll be no story to cover".

li3sindisguis3, if there is a troop surge it's to wipe out Taliban and Al-Qaeda not to wipe out Afghanistan. Why do mix things up? And what do you mean by real Afghan resistance? Do you want to tell me that when the Taliban and their Wahabi Arab parasites are finished that there will come a real Afghan resistance against the international forces. Which daemons should that be? The constitution of Afghanistan is a strong constitution which will uphold to any resistance, not only from the Taliban.

kacha098I agree with some of your points but don't make the common mistake of underestimating the Afghan people. The Taliban are a gang of uneducated, confused criminals...they do not represent my country. As you know, most of them are internationals...otherwise frustrated citizens with no other revolution to follow. The US has not faced real Afghan resistance during it's occupation. They plan a troop surge in fear of it and with great reason. The Soviet invasion is not the only example.

arabic100PercentMaking false statements like you have, repeatedly quoting the Hadith and telling the world that Islam wouldn't exist without the Arabs is blasphemes and completely disgusting in my opinion. The Hadith is not a part of true Islam, you have confused yourself, Read the Holy Quran before you make such outrages assumptions. And please...don't bury yourself in such arrogant, ignorant pride.

Kacha: you see why you need arabs, because you cannot read the quran and the Hadith, The prophit SAW said anyone who said "no god but allah and mohammed is the messenger" that means he is a muslim, So NOT you and NOT USA decides who is muslim or not. maybe if you learn arabic you understand more about islam.

Why do you see yourself as Muslim. You have no right, at all, to speak in the name of Islam. You belong to a sect.
arabic100Percent (September 25, 2008 at 2:48 pm)
kacha098: if you read the hadith well it says that our prophit prohibited us muslims from calling other muslims kufars even if they are different from us.But USA-bush-crusaders have made you blind.
