Mozart - Ave verum corpus - Vienna boys choir

this is just the vocal score, it doesn't have any silences or restsMozart's final completed sacred work was written on 17 June 1791, for the feast of Corpus Christi at the request of Anton Stoll, choirmaster at Baden where Mozart was visiting with his wife Constanze.Hail the true body, born of the Virgin Mary: You who truly suffered and were sacrificed on the cross for the sake of man. From whose pierced flank flowed water and blood: Be a foretaste for us in the trial of death. Salve, verdadero cuerpo, nacido de María Virgen, que fue inmolado en la cruz por los hombres, cuyo lado perforado manó sangre y agua, dejanos degustarte en el trance de la muerte. All of Mozart's music: http://www.mozart-archiv.de/Al... of Mozart's scores: http://dme.mozarteum.at/DME/nm...

Oh no, I am mistaken... this IS Mozart's version and beautifully done too!

I believe this is William Byrd's composition of this song, not the Mozart version.

Is it because the choir is actually called "Wiener Sängerknaben"? Nonetheless, no need to be so rude.

no, I mean, It is just easy. It is not fast, not a lot of trills or melismas, no jumps, no long notes, no huge range needed, no changes of time or key, just one speed, the armonic parts are fairly easy to learn.

It is. Compared to some Bach works.
