Boy, he actually sounds pretty good on this one. This is the most organic sound I've heard from him. I think it's due to the aura of Ron Carter. Gonzalo's playing, while tecnically brilliant, lacks emotion. This video shows quite and improvement. At this point, I can still only listen to him at a distance. I like to feel warmth in the tones - some how Ron Carter brings this out of him. If he continues tap into that quality more, he would be great.
