that is true but the problem is, when you say hound dog people don't think BMT they think EP but when you say all along the watchtower people still think bob dylan. that's why we need the history to give props were they are due.

dear14ash19, i really love your comment. u r so right. the music busines does not have any thing to do with racism. a lot of "light skinned" folks were blues artists, a lot of "dark brown" folks were rock'n'roll artistsand so, on and on I love that! we are all humans and each has a purpose and a time to fulfill our purpose. Let's try to find it, be grateful & content. COME ON

It is true that Elvis "stole" this song. But EVERYONE at the time knew that Big Mamma did it first. Back when these artists were popular it was very common for white artists to re-make a song that was done by black artists. Everyone knew Elvis took this song because it was a common practice. You are missing that black artists took songs from white ones too. Jimmy Hendrix re-did Bob Dylans Like a Rolling Stone. All races "stole" music from one another. Get over it and just enjoy the music!

To those of u who use the word "nigger" so freely; Check this out!The word came down thru history from people who couldn't pronounce "negro",the spanish word meaning "black", describing the color of the skin of slaves. with the "rolling" r and the "a" sound of e. It was pronounced "nagadro". look it up in your history and english books. Think about it. I'd love to have a fraction of the talent that the musicians in some of these videos have, "black" or "white". WHITE? what is white? Come On
