Gon and Killua got into "Greed Island" by proving themselves to Mr. Battera. Kurapika and Leorio (the two people you mentioned) did not do the same, and are thus not here. But they feel fantastic and they're still alive.

can someone answer this question?didnt you notice that the guy who saved Gon in the first episode is the same guy who appeared as Gon's father in the end (when they use "accompany" to go to "NIG"? He was wearing the exact same hat and was blondeDoes that mean he is Gon's father from the beginning or does it mean he is really a student who did all that so he and Gon would continue in search for his father? Its obvious that came to Gon's island to tell Gon indirectly about his father.
