It is a manual planetary transmission. That means that the gears are set up very similar to an automatic tranny except that you manually shift gears instead of a valvebody controling the shifts.

its a Lenco, all levers foward is neutral, tallest lever back is 1st, pull the next lever back thats 2nd, and so on. This apears to be a 3 spd with reverse. Look em up they're sweet.
