bought a 5'11 ebony Schimmel Grand. At 16 I bought my first Tama drum set, with all alex VH cymbals. I played in my high school band, as a drum major. I recorded a cd in 88 with friends from college, where I played every instrument, except vocals. Eddie didn't create tapping you dumbfuck. He just incorporated it into almost every song he played. People were tapping way before him. Don't make me do your own research for you. You don't play guitar at all or you would understand. I play the solo to "Jump" for a buddy the other day. It was fucking cake. Not only can Nuno tap better than EVH, but he's proved in his records that he's faster, and his alt picking is sick. Nuno hands down the more adept guitarist.
