wade wrote the song about his dad who abandoned him when he was a kid so the video makes perfect sense for the song. this really isn't a love song, it's about how his unconditional love for his dad didn't stop him from leaving

kinda but it relies on da fact that the dad didnt care about the daughter.You know how some pple please their parents but still wateva they do is not enough..thats what da song is about...like no matter what da parent does da gal just keeps holding on and loving him

gosh I'm so disappointed that a song like this has a music video like that...It shoulda been about someone who loved someone but that person died before they could tell them. I don't know. something more meaningful. the lyrics just make it seem like that girl is in love with her dad -_-
