This song hits straight to my heart. Such a beautiful song. Why can't we get to listen this kinda songs anymore. 80s ruled then today it rules my heart. Great video love this video too, the child in this video is so innocent watching them have tea and smiling. I know the true world is not like that in Harmony, but why can't it be? That's why I always say Cyndi is the real Queen of Pop. it dosen't count if you have to copy, I don't care if your successful doing it. She and Michael Jackson were also the pioneers of elaborate music videos.

Yep, she was. Madonna even sounded like Cyndi back then(with the really high pitched vocal style)and Madonna had a much deeper voice naturally. Check out interviews from both of them in the 80's and you'll see, Cyndi always sounded like a chipmunk, that's why she sang that way lol. If you look at the cover for the single Time After Time,you can see just how much Madonna copied Cyndi's style (just do a google image search under "Time After Time Cyndi lauper", and look at the pics of her in black.
