bwahaha! thanks for the lesson, master! i don't want to be like bernard purdie - nor do i need to to get a good groove going like he does. all i'm saying is that i love his drumming, but as a person he'd get on my titties. as for being depressed on drums...i love drumming too much. groove actually transcends emotion for me. when i groove, i go into a trance. i'm sure purdie would approve ;)

"i can't stand how happy he is. i suffer from depression and i could not be around this guy, he'd drive me insane. i hate him, but i've still got the purdie shuffle on my to do list :P"learn how to be this happy then. if you are depressed when you play and practice the drums, it'll come out.Making a good feeling on the drums is 10x more important than playing as hard and recklessly as possible.
