How are you so sure that there is a day of judgment to begin with? Just because a book that says "bible" on it says so? Where's the credibility?

If you think christianity is about love, you haven't read the old testament. I have, and that's one more reason I quit. I refuse to believe in a revengeful, sadistic, hateful war criminal of a god. Seriously, read the bible! It's all there. i.e., try Numbers 31:17-18. You will never hear of these "dark verses" if you only listen to a pastor's favorite picks.And god himself is a magical being.

Wow... you obviously weren't a Christian...A) There are no "magical beings" in Christianity.B) It IS about being a good, caring person as that's what God calls us all to do!C) Everything about your last paragraph is messed up. Christians SHOULD NOT just care about getting into heaven themselves. They should be a witness to others (partially by being a kind, caring person) so they may also be able to go to heaven.
