the pipes you are refering to are uibhleann pipes not bagpipes you silly fool. its an irish song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to be confused with welsh scotch or manx, who i may add originate from my country ireland. read a book. get a clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The song is widely considered an Irish anthem. It is nonetheless widely considered by many Irish Americans and Irish Canadians to be their unofficial signature song. It is frequently included in the organ presentation at Irish-American funerals. The song has sent off many fallen fire-fighters, and is a standard with many fire department bands.

Actually, Celtic extends to the Scotts, Welsh, Manx, A certain group of French, and even some from Britain.In the song it mentions about how the pipes are callin', the "Pipes" would be Bag Pipes which are actually a Scottish instrument. HOWEVER, there is another similar instrument that is Irish, so it's possible they could be speaking of those. Still, though, Celtic is not -only- Irish "Dip Shit"
