Himalayas from Boeing 737

This is a video I shot while on a domestic flight from Patna to New Delhi, India. It was a clear day and the Himalayas which were probably around 150-200 miles away were quite visible and beautiful. The flight was Air Sahara in a Boeing 737 aircraft.

Thanks guys, I just thought it was really cool to see the Himalayas from the plane, it was my first time seeing them in person and even if it was very distant it was still a beautiful sight. Just thought I'd share it on here.

I think so Neelaelisabet. That one peak does look like the Annapurna peak, and it is somewhat parallel to the area we were flying.

We would not have been flying that high because we were not flying any Himalayan route. This was just a commercial flight on a direct route from Patna to New Delhi, which is a North-West direction Parallel to the Himalayas. The Himalayas were over a hundred miles away from where we were at, there would be no need to fly that high, especially since its only a 2 hour flight from Patna to New Delhi. It may have been more than 10,000 feet but Im pretty sure it wouldnt have been that high.
